It is not recommended to combine Xifaxan with alcohol. Xifaxan affects the activity of certain enzymes in the liver, so there may be an interaction - not to mention an additional load on the digestive system. I attach links to websites where you can compare the prices of probiotics in online pharmacies and order the preparation with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27293/enterol-250-kapsulki/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/69127/sanprobi-super-formula-kapsulki/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/89923/vivomixx-kapsulki/apteki Electrolytes: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/32013/gastrolit-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/85164/zdrovit-litorsal-tabletki-musujace/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/57960/orsalit-o-smaku-malinowym-proszek-do-wytworzenia-zawiesiny/apteki More here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/elektrolity I encourage you to watch our short video:

I advise against combining Xifaxan with alcohol. Xifaxan affects the activity of certain enzymes in the liver, so there may be an interaction - not to mention an additional load on the digestive system. The decision to take a probiotic during treatment with Xifaxan should be made by a doctor. While taking Xifaxan, the probiotic should be taken at a large interval (preferably at a different time of day). It is worth supplementing the probiotic for a long time after finishing the Xifaxan treatment to strengthen the intestinal flora after treatment. The best electrolytes are those that contain the necessary minerals and glucose with as few additional flavors as possible, etc. In the case of disorders of the digestive tract, I suggest using preparations adapted to the needs of patients (e.g. sachets for dissolution in water such as Acidolite, Gastrolit, Orsalit). I rather do not recommend effervescent tablets in this case (they can additionally irritate the intestines). Electrolytes should not be sweetened/acidified. One sachet should be dissolved in 200ml of water and washed down in small portions (the number of sachets per day should be taken in accordance with the recommendations contained in the leaflet of the selected preparation).
