Is it possible to take Nedal for asthma?

The active substance in Nedal is nebivolol. It is a competitive and selective antagonist of beta-adrenergic receptors. People with asthma constitute a special "risk group" with relative contraindications to therapy with drugs from the group of beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists. Available studies show that nebivolol is considered a safe substance in people with asthma. Although in the Summary of Product Characteristics of Nedal we find information that a history of bronchial asthma is a contraindication to the use of this drug. When using Nedal in asthmatics, special care should be taken and treatment should be carried out under medical supervision.
