Does taking birth control pills affect the result of the pregnancy test?

Hi. Can a pregnancy test performed while taking contraceptive pills (two-component, I have already taken 2 years) give a false result or is such a test 100% equally reliable? The test was done in the middle of the blister and gave a negative result?

Taking birth control pills does not affect the result of a pregnancy test from blood or urine. The test result can be considered reliable when it was performed after approx. 3-10 days after intercourse - depending on the test.
