For inflammation of the ethmoid sinuses, the ENT prescribed me Metypred at a dose of 3×8mg. I take the drug on the 4th day and my stomach hurts a lot. Can I stop the medicine without possible consequences?

In the first place, you can include protective drugs on the stomach, e.g. with pantoprazole or omeprazole. These remedies are available without a prescription and it is enough to take one tablet in the morning, on an empty stomach, m.in. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/57969/ortanol-max-kapsulki/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/63084/polprazol-max-kapsulki/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/19739/controloc-control-tabletki/apteki If, despite the use of a protective drug, the symptoms do not go away, you should consult a doctor who will decide on further proceedings. Metypred should not be discontinued overnight and without talking to your doctor.
