How do I change my Ginoring disc to Adaring?

Hello. Through. The last 3 months I have been using a ginoring disc. Now the doctor recommended Adaring to me. I took out that disc after 3 weeks, waited a week without, got spotting in the meantime and after this week (as with the use of ginoring discs, exactly on the same day and at the same time) I put on the adaring disc for the first time. Was this done correctly? I don't see an exact answer in the leaflet, and I'm increasingly afraid that a third-party disc should be put on on the first day of spotting.

You have done the right thing. Protection against pregnancy is maintained and there is no need for an additional method of contraception. Adaring and Ginoring discs contain the same amount of hormones with the same release profile, so when changing the Ginoring disc to Adaring, you should proceed in the same way as if you continue using the previous discs - after a 7-day break for withdrawal bleeding, you should apply a new disc at the same time as before. The recommendations to apply a new disc on the first day of bleeding refer to the situation when a woman uses this method of contraception for the first time.
