Can a delay in setting up Ginoring affect its effectiveness?

Hello, I was supposed to put ginoring today at 11:30, unfortunately I was not able to get home for this hour and I put it on at 16:30. Can such a change in time affect the effectiveness? Best regards

If the establishment of the new Ginoring system is delayed by more than 3 hours, its contraceptive effectiveness may be reduced. In such a situation, the leaflet of the drug refers to the point - Skipping the use of a new vaginal therapeutic system after a break in its use: "If the interruption in the use of the vaginal therapeutic system was longer than 7 days, a new system should be established as soon as possible. If intercourse occurs during the next 7 days, an additional method of contraception (e.g. a male condom) should be used. If intercourse took place during a break in the use of the vaginal therapeutic system, there is a possibility of pregnancy. In this case, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible. The longer the pause in the vaginal therapeutic system, the greater the likelihood of pregnancy." Although you are slightly late, I suggest that you follow the above guidelines for safety.
