Is diarrhea, increased pressure, accelerated heart rate and anxiety related to the removal of the Mirena IUD?

Hello. Four days ago I had a mirena with heavy bleeding. I was in the hospital and I had uterine abrasions. I am already at home and today after these four days I have a loose stool, accelerated heart rate and increased pressure Sometimes I feel anxiety associated with it . Can the removal of mirena cause such ailments? Thank you and best regards

Yes, of course, discontinuation of any hormonal contraception is unfortunately associated with blood pressure spikes, increased heart rate, feelings of anxiety and even panic attacks. I had it almost after every contraception. Best regards

It is quite unlikely that the described symptoms, such as diarrhea, increased pressure, are associated with the removal of the Mirena IUD. If the symptoms do not go away or intensify, I encourage you to consult a doctor. Perhaps you are developing, for example, an infection. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/49634/mirena-przyrzad/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/wkladki-domaciczne

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
