Good morning At 16:15 I took a tablet of Belara. At 7:40 p.m., I vomited. Should I take another pill or has contraceptive protection been preserved?

This should not affect the effectiveness of contraceptive protection, with a delay of more than 12 hours, the effectiveness of contraception may be reduced and then an additional method, e.g. a condom, should be used for the next 7 days.
Thank you for your reply:) I took another tablet 7 hours after a fixed hour of taking the pills, but it was the first tablet from the blister. Could this result in a reduction in protection?

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, if vomiting or severe diarrhoea occurs within 4 hours after taking the tablet, absorption may be reduced and the effectiveness of contraceptive protection cannot be guaranteed. You should then take another tablet of the drug as soon as possible, no longer than 12 hours after a fixed time of use. In your case, this situation has occurred, you should follow the above instructions.
