I'm using the ginoring contraceptive disc for the first time. I put it in correctly on the first day of the cycle, the period went normally, but every day (today it is 13 days since the system was laid out) I observe brown mucus. I will add that I had cytology done before I started ginoring and everything turned out well. Apart from the spottings, nothing hurts me, I have no other disturbing symptoms. What could this brown spotting mean, and should I urgently go to the gynecologist?

During the first few months of using the Ginoring disc, irregular spotting and bleeding may occur. This usually takes the first 3-6 months. The occurrence of irregular spotting and bleeding does not affect the contraceptive effectiveness of the drug, and is associated with the so-called adaptation period to the use of hormonal drugs. In the event that the spotting does not subside after 6 months, it is recommended to consult a gynecologist: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96195/ginoring-przyrzad/apteki I encourage you to familiarize yourself with additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
