Can the onset of the use of hormonal contraceptive pills Rigevidon be associated with disorders of the menstrual cycle?

I had a very scanty menstruation after which spotting occurred for over a week. The gynecologist prescribed me Rigevidon for a month. The next day after the first tablet, bleeding began. I am after the 3rd tablet, bleeding continues to occur and I feel a slight abdominal pain during this time. Should it look like there?

The onset of contraceptive pills may be associated with disorders of the menstrual cycle and this is not a reason to immediately discontinue the drug. The reaction of each woman is individual, but the first 3 months are considered the so-called adaptation period. This is the period in which the body to some extent "gets used to" the administered hormones. Only after this period, if irregular bleeding or midcyclical bleeding persists, I recommend contacting your doctor.
