Will hair loss with Drovelis tablets subside over time?

Good morning I have such a problem I once took Diane 35 and my hair did not fall out. After doing the research came out of the d-dimery I had very high. So the gynecologist changed my pills to drovelis I take already 4 pack and I see that my hair has thinned out with I see the skore head. For 4 months I take biotin with minerals and also does not help Will the falling subside? What should I do? Ask her to change the contraceptive pills where is the ingredient that prevents hair loss?

Hello

I'm noticing the same thing, I've been taking DROVELIS for 1 year and my hair is falling out. For a long time, I thought it was post-Covid but in reality it is a problem related to the pill. Have you noticed a recovery of your hair since then, or is it still falling out?

Have a nice day

Hair loss is an adverse reaction that is observed on average in 1% of patients using this medicine. If you are already at the 4th package, the chance that hair loss will subside is small. It would be best to discuss with your doctor changing the contraceptive, e.g. single-ingredient pills. They are characterized by a lower risk of developing thrombosis, there is also a chance that after one-component tablets hair loss will subside. You can read about single-ingredient tablets here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-jednoskladnikowe
