Hello, the doctor prescribed me the drug BETESDA. From the leaflet I read that the drug can not be taken at a low resting heart rate, for me a low resting heart rate is caused by sport - running. My resting heart rate is 37-43. Can I then take this medicine?

Caution is advised when using Betesda in patients with low resting heart rate: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/10498/betesda-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/191210 In patients with low resting heart rate, it is recommended to take care of a proper diet, as well as to ensure an adequate amount of sodium in the diet. This prevents excessive lowering of the heart rate. Patients with a low resting heart rate should provide this information to the attending physicians. This makes it possible to select, m.in, appropriate doses of the drug and increases the safety of the therapy. If you have not informed your doctor about low heart rate, I encourage you to consult your doctor again.
