Hello. The gynecologist recommended me to change the pills from Aidee to Seasonique . He told Aidee to be put away right away and wait for her period and start a new package. After visiting the gynecologist, I got a very scanty spotting, one-time, but I thought it was menstruation and I started new pills right away, without taking a break. Now I wonder if it was menstruation or not :( When will the pills from the new packaging start working and protect me from pregnancy? Do I have to protect myself additionally these 3 months?

According to the manufacturer's recommendations, the start of seasonique should be done by taking the 1st tablet immediately after the end of taking the active tablets of Aidee: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/88533/seasonique-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/211207 Since each active tablet of Aidee has the same composition, failure to take a break between preparations should not adversely affect the effectiveness of Seasonique. You can use an additional contraceptive method for at least 7 consecutive days of using the drug, which will provide complete confidence in the effectiveness of the new preparation.
