What should I do if I miss a 17th tablet of Axia?
Good morning. I use Axia pills, I forgot to take 17 pills from a blister. I passed the tablet with an 18 h delay. Is there a risk of fertilization in the nearest days, due to the fact that in 4 days I start the "week without tablets" and in 7 days the withdrawal bleeding should begin?

If, for the 7 days preceding the omission of the 17 pill, contraception has been taken correctly, then protection may be preserved. Take the missed tablet as soon as possible and continue taking the remaining tablets normally. Then skip the 7-day break and immediately start using the tablets from the next package. In this case, there will be no withdrawal bleeding, however, spotting or mid-cycle bleeding may occur while taking the tablets - this is not a cause for concern.
