Does Gyno-Pevaryl 150 weaken the effect of the NuvaRing contraceptive disc? If so, what to do after applying them? I am in the 2nd week of using the disc. Should we assume that the disc did not work properly and how long to protect yourself after the treatment?

According to current medical knowledge, vaginal use of Gyno-pevaryl should not result in a decrease in the contraceptive effect of the disc, due to the fact that econazole (active substance) has limited systemic availability in this form of administration. Cases of vaginal system damage with vaginal globules have been reported, and the instructions in the summary of product characteristics should be followed. I enclose instructions, a link to the full characteristics of the product and information that may be useful. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/55364/nuvaring-przyrzad/ulotka/109760 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji
