Should I stop taking Bioxetin if there is no effect after 11 days of use? Can I use sedatives with Bioxetin?
Good morning, the son is delayed to a moderate degree. For 11 days he has been taking bioxetin,because he can "wind up" on a given topic. Unfortunately, the symptoms worsened. He is very nervous. Should I stop taking the medicine? Is it possible to give sedatives, e.g. Persen?

Bioxetin does not start therapeutic activity until at least a few weeks of regular use. At the time of starting pharmacotherapy, the symptoms of the underlying disease may worsen: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/12093/bioxetin-tabletki/ulotka/21987 If the effect of the drug turns out to be insufficient for the son, I encourage you to consult the attending physician, who will recommend further therapy. Do not stop therapy yourself (m.in due to the risk of withdrawal symptoms). Without consulting a doctor, do not use additional sedatives, such as Persen.
