Good morning, we received a prescription for Nutramigen LGG in Poland, while earlier my son drank Nutramigen Pro 1 Spanish milk. According to the label, the composition is the same, but the milk is significantly different in color, even the taste is different. Should I give Polish LGG milk? Is it the same as Spanish 1Pro milk? I attach photos of cans and the appearance of milk. On the left Polish LGG, on the right Spanish 1 pro.

Unfortunately, without full access to reliable information about the Spanish "version" of milk, it is difficult for me to confirm that it is actually the same composition. It seems that Nutramigen 1 Pro and Nutramigen 1 LGG are two versions of a similar product, but after delving into the content of each of the ingredients, you can find differences. In addition to the composition, it seems that even the origin of the can can affect the organoleptic properties, a similar case is described in the following threads: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/33814/nutramigen-skad-roznica-w-napisach-na-etykiecie-mleka-nutramigen-lgg/4 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/39924/nutramigen-czy-w-aptekach-kupie-jeszcze-mleko-nutramigen-lgg-lipil-1 In the case of neonatal and infant nutrition, decisions to include the formula Milk replacer is taken by the pediatrician, indicating the most suitable product in his opinion. From a pharmaceutical point of view, I can provide information that Nutramigen 1 LGG Complete is a formula intended for infants with allergy to soy protein and cow's milk protein and is applicable in the case of such an indication. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/mleko-modyfikowane-i-bank-mleka-kobiecego https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/fakty-i-mity-o-mleku-modyfikowanym In order to be able to give you a more comprehensive answer, I contacted the milk producer Nutramigen about the Spanish formula "1 Pro." If additional information comes in, I will post it in this thread.
