A) In a situation where the Ginoring disc has been used for no more than 4 weeks, the contraceptive effectiveness is preserved. You should take a one-week break in its use, and then put on a new disc. If Ginoring has been used for more than 4 weeks, the contraceptive effectiveness may be reduced, and before putting on a new disc, you should make sure that fertilization has not occurred. B) If the break in using the Ginoring disc was longer than the recommended 7 days, a new disc should be applied as soon as possible, in addition, a condom should be used for the next 7 days. If intercourse has occurred during a break in the use of the disc, a pregnancy test should be performed. In this case, a new day of disc change is established - the day of the start of the break for withdrawal bleeding marks the day of application of the patch, not the day on which it should have occurred.
