Should I decide to change my Azalia tablets or wait?

I started the second pack of Azalia. About two weeks ago there was spotting, and since yesterday I have had my period. My stomach hurts, my spine, like with normal menstruation. Should I decide to change the pills or wait?

The tolerability of a given contraceptive is generally assessed after 3 months (cycles) of use of the product, unless the side effects are so severe that the patient does not accept them. As for spotting or bleeding while taking Azalia, according to the documentation for this product: "The disadvantage of using Azalia is the occurrence of irregular bleeding from the genital tract when taking tablets. Bleeding may also not occur at all" and further: "Irregular bleeding does not mean that the contraceptive effect of Azalia is reduced. In general, there is no need to take any action, it is enough to continue using Azalia. However, if the bleeding is heavy or lasts longer, you should consult a doctor." So if your expectation is regular menstruation, then the Azalia product may not meet them. On the other hand, there was probably a specific reason why you were prescribed a single-component contraceptive. Perhaps there are contraindications to the use of two-component contraception. In conclusion - I suggest you wait if the ailments are not particularly annoying. If the bleeding profile still does not suit you, then you should contact your gynecologist.
