Hello. He has been using Ginoring discs for several years. I always pull out the puck during intercourse, unfortunately I mistakenly threw it away today. I put on a new one right away, the old one I should wear for another week. However, I have a question whether the new disc is equal to the fact that from today I have another 3 weeks of wearing and a week break? Can this new one still wear a week as I should old? In a situation where the old Ginoring disc was mistakenly discarded during the second week of use and a new one was immediately put on, it should be worn for 3 consecutive weeks. At the same time, withdrawal bleeding will occur only during the break after removing the disc from the vagina. It is also worth paying attention to how long the disc was removed from the vagina. If this time was less than 3 hours, contraceptive protection remained preserved. In a situation where the disc was outside the vagina for more than 3 hours, for the next 7 days it is necessary to use additional contraceptive methods, e.g. a condom.
