Will alcohol reduce the effectiveness of the Orlifique tablet? Yesterday at 21:30 I took 1 tablet from a new package and an hour later I drank a beer. Can protection be reduced in such a situation?

So the effectiveness in this case has been preserved? Vomiting did not occur

Alcohol in itself does not reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Also, do not drink it medication - water is suitable. Drinking beer an hour later, however, is no longer "sipping", but ordinary consumption. Alcohol contained m.in beer can have a detrimental effect if it leads to vomiting or diarrhea, as such gastric disorders can impair absorption and disrupt the action of the tablet.
