Are there any medications or dietary supplements that can weaken the effect of the Mirena insole?

Hi I have an insert Mirena. I'm wondering because I forgot to ask my doctor. And I live abroad and I have no way to go to him. My question about the mirena insert. Are there any drugs / dietary supplement that can weaken the effect of the mirena IUD? Regards Marta

According to the mirena system documentation: "Since the mechanism of action of the Mirena system is primarily local, taking other medications should not increase the risk of becoming pregnant while using this system. However, it is recommended that you tell your doctor if you have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription."
