Can they be washed for hygiene while using contraceptive discs?

After the end of menstruation, should the vaginal disc be removed and washed or from the first day of menstruation to the end of week 3 should it be inside without any removal? How does this "dirt" after menstruation relate to hygiene and its operation?

Contraceptive discs are used in a 3-week, continuous use of the disc, followed by a one-week break, during which, usually on the 2-3rd day after removal of the disc, withdrawal bleeding occurs. After a 7-day break, even if the bleeding is still ongoing, a new disc should be put on. During 3 weeks of use, the disc should not be pulled out and washed. Physiological mechanisms allow the vagina to self-clean after a period of bleeding. You can read more about contraceptive discs in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/krazki-dopochwowe
