Is pink mucus typical after discontinuation of the disc?

Hello, on March 28 I stopped using the Ginoring disc, on March 31 I had menstruation and I did not use the puck anymore. Since about April 17, I noticed a rosic mucus in my house, sometimes I even see small clots there, they do not have a brown color. This does not go away. I would like to add that after discontinuation of use, he applies additional security with his partner. Could fertilization have occurred in the previous cycle after all, or is the mucus typical after discontinuation? Best regards

If in the previous cycle you used the disc correctly, and then there was bleeding from withdrawal, I do not see any reason to worry that pregnancy could have occurred. With a lack of hormones from the disc, the body returns to its physiological tracks and should return to the normal cycle - ovulation and subsequent bleeding after about a month. Sometimes patients observe certain disorders up to several months after the end of contraception, but it is difficult to say that "pink mucus" or clots are typical. The action of the hormones from the disc ended on the day you took it out. What you describe looks like a kind of spotting, but the cause should be diagnosed by a gynecologist.
