I have been treated with escitalopram for 4 years. It was all right. Recently, I neglected to take medication and did not take it very regularly. Breaks were for about 2-3 days. There were symptoms that were before the start of treatment. For about 3 weeks I have been taking regularly. This week there was an improvement but after 2 days the symptoms returned again, then 3 days it was good and again there is a worse mood. Is this normal? How much longer can these worse days last?

If, despite regularly taking the drug for a period of 3 weeks, the symptoms are still present, it is time to consult a doctor - perhaps in connection with long-term taking of the drug, tolerance to the dose of the drug has developed - it may be necessary to increase the dose of the drug or change the method of treatment. These symptoms may not pass with time, and even on the contrary - they can intensify. I attach a link to a helpful post: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/zaburzenia-lekowe-nerwica
