When does Loratadine start working and if there are no effects can I go back to Telfexo?

Hello, for several days I have been taking loratidine in the initial dose of 2x1 now already 3x1 according to the dermatologist's recommendations for allergic urticaria. I found that there is no improvement that the condition of the skin. Is there a period since this drug starts to work? Previously, I used TELFEXO 180 and felt better. Or maybe it is better to return to the latter drug.

Usually, 10 mg of loratadine per day is used. Increasing the dose does not improve the effect of the drug and will not accelerate the effects of therapy. The effect should be visible after approx. 1-2 hours after taking the drug. If you do not see any effects after loratadine, consider returning to Telfexo. We write about how antihistamines work here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-przeciwhistaminowe The availability of Telfexo 180 mg in pharmacies you will check here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/77766/telfexo-180-mg-tabletki-powlekane/apteki The drug with this substance as Telfexo (in a slightly smaller, but still sufficient dose) is also available without a prescription and you can buy it online: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/3456/allegra-tabletki-powlekane/apteki?pvid=118783#internetowe
