Am I protected if I took a 7-day break from using the Ginoring disc too early?

I took out the disc a week earlier by mistake I put on the next disc after 7 days or am I secured?

You did not include the name of the disc in your question. If your question is about the Ginoring disc tagged in the tags, please read on. If you remove the disc a week earlier (after 2 weeks of ginoring), it is recommended to proceed as if the disc has been outside the vagina for some time (e.g. after falling out). There are two ways to do the right thing. One of them is to take a 7-day break and start using a new disc. If in the 2nd week of use the disc was in the vagina all the time, this ensures that the contraceptive effectiveness of the preparation is maintained: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96195/ginoring-przyrzad/ulotka/244491 The interval between individual discs can not be longer than 7 days. Otherwise, the contraceptive effectiveness of the drug is reduced.
