In the case of thyroid diseases, the issue of iodine supplementation should always be discussed with an endocrinologist, as this may be inadvisable and may even exacerbate the course of hypothyroidism (if it is autoimmune hypothyroidism, i.e. Hashimoto's disease). In the case of strengthening hair with dietary supplements, it is worth looking for ingredients such as sulfuric amino acids, biotin and B vitamins, silica, iron or zinc.
