Is it normal for me to gain weight after pills?
Good morning, I have been using axia conti tablets for 3 months. I observed a significant weight gain while using them. It is around 6-8 kg, I will add that before the start of using the tablets, body weight was constantly at the level of 51-52kg. What worries me is that despite feeling great and controlling the calories consumed, body weight increases.

Some birth control pills can actually affect weight gain, it is recorded in their Characteristics of Medicinal Products. If it causes you enough discomfort that you want to change the pills to another or not at all to another method of contraception - please seek medical advice.
