Can I go back to taking Vixpo and can I start in the middle of the cycle?

Hello. 2 years ago I took vixpo contraceptive pills can I now return to these drugs without consulting a doctor? When choosing tablets, the doctor did not perform any tests, only conducted an interview. And can I start taking the pills in the middle of the cycle?

It will be safer to consult a gynecologist, regardless of the fact that only an interview was previously performed. For two years, your health condition may have changed so much that it may be advisable to perform tests, especially if you have not had gynecological inspections since then. Your age has also changed, which in some cases plays a role when choosing a product. It is not recommended to start packing tablets in the middle of a cycle. If you have not used hormone-containing contraceptives in the previous month, Vixpo should be started on the first day of your normal cycle (that is, the first day of menstruation). Separate treatments may be recommended by the gynecologist in special cases (e.g. irregular menstruation, where the waiting time for natural bleeding is very long) and after pregnancy has been ruled out.
