Are venlafllaksin and reboksetin used together? I wanted to ask the doctor about such a connection. Earlier I asked about venlaflaxin and bupropion but I was told that such a combination does not apply but whether the combination of venlaflaxine and reboxetine is used? Do doctors often decide on such a combo?

There were no interactions between reboxetine and venlafaxine that could adversely affect their efficacy and safety. So, there are no contraindications to the simultaneous use of both drugs. Statistics describing the frequency of use of this drug combination are not available. However, scientific studies have been published that confirmed that combination treatment with reboxetine and venlafaxine in patients refractory to venlafaxine treatment may be an effective and well-tolerated strategy. We wrote about whether the simultaneous use of several drugs can be dangerous in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-przyjmowanie-kilku-lekow-jednoczesnie-jest-bezpieczne
