Can Famogast be used during pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks pregnant. I have had reflux for 13 years. Until I became pregnant, I took ipp 20mg and ipp 40mg (once the doses were increased, and once reduced). The only salvation during pregnancy became Gaviscon liquid (other things do not work: ginger, flax, porridge, almonds). The internist wrote me today Famogast 40mg. I read the leaflet and now I wonder if I can really take it (5 days) interval and possibly again a few days.

Famotidine - the active substance in Famogast - belongs to category B of medicines used during pregnancy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/ciaza-i-dziecko These are medicines that are probably safe during pregnancy, but caution should be exercised when using. Famogast can be used during pregnancy only in case of absolute necessity. Before deciding to administer famotidine during pregnancy, the doctor should evaluate the potential benefits in relation to the possible risks of its use.
