Do not smoke e-cigarettes while using oral hormonal contraception. Although the use of e-cigarettes does not affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills - it should be borne in mind that smoking even e-cigarettes increases the risk of thrombosis, which is a life-threatening side effect that can occur when using hormonal contraception.
