In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

The 30% discount payment (currently PLN 107.32) for Ozempic applies to the following situation: "Type 2 diabetes, in patients before insulin inclusion, treated with at least two oral hypoglycemic drugs for at least 6 months, with HbA1c ≥ 8%, with obesity defined as BMI ≥35 kg / m2 and very high cardiovascular risk understood as: 1) confirmed cardiovascular disease, or 2) damage to other organs manifested by: proteinuria or left ventricular hypertrophy or retinopathy, or 3) the presence of 2 or more of the main risk factors listed below: -age ≥ 55 years for men, ≥60 years for women, -dyslipidemia, -hypertension, -smoking Your entry shows that you do not meet the conditions for reimbursement, because you do not have diagnosed diabetes and have not tried two-drug therapy in your case. The other criteria are difficult for me to assess because you do not provide them (BMI, glycated hemoglobin level), but each of the mandatory conditions must be met in order for the patient to be eligible for reimbursement. To @Monia: You are not entitled to reimbursement, m.in. due to the fact that insulin has already been included in the treatment, and according to the regulations, the discount payment applies to: "Type 2 diabetes, in patients before insulin inclusion, treated with at least two oral hypoglycemic drugs for at least 6 months, with HbA1c ≥ 8%, with obesity defined as BMI ≥35 kg / m2 and very high cardiovascular risk understood as: 1) confirmed cardiovascular disease, or 2) damage to other organs manifested by: proteinuria or left ventricular hypertrophy or retinopathy, or 3) the presence of 2 or more major risk factors among those listed below: -age ≥ 55 years for men, ≥60 years for women, -dyslipidemia, -hypertension, -smoking"
