If the contraceptive disc is put on the first day of menstruation, it works right away. If between the 2nd and 5th day of the cycle, it starts to work after 7 days and during this time you should additionally protect yourself with a condom. Yes, when using the disc, you can have intercourse with ejaculation. The disc can be washed in cold/cool water.
