At the age of 49, can I take Zoely tablets on an ad hoc basis?
Good morning! I have a question whether at the age of 49 I can temporarily take Zoely tablets. I mean a maximum of 3 packs to control bleeding. At the end of March, I have sinus surgery and then I can not have a period. I wanted to add that currently my periods are irregular, which is related to my age. Maybe I should take other pills?

Hormonal contraception is subject to prescription, so the decision on whether and what pills you can use should be made in consultation with a doctor familiar with your health condition, because age is not the main decision-maker about taking the drug. The doctor should be informed in detail about the course of the operation. On this basis, the gynecologist will be able to choose the right therapy for you.
