After the microgynon 21 tablets, I had excessive ovlosienie and I had increased assimilated probes. The doctor prescribed me new tablets - Orlifique while I read that the composition is very similar to those that I took earlier and in addition in the description of these tablets is information that they can also intensify the oatsienie and j wanted to get rid of it. Did the doctor choose me good replacement pills?

Microgynon 21 contains ethinylestradiol at a dose of 30 mcg and levonorgestrel at a dose of 150 mcg. Orlifique has the same composition, but the doses of hormones are smaller - ethinylestradiol is 20 mcg, and levonorgestrel - 100 mcg. It follows that the doctor decided that in your case it may be sufficient to reduce the doses of hormones, and not to completely change the preparation. Perhaps the overall tolerability of the drug was good (there were no other side effects). If you have doubts about how changing the tablets is to help in your problem with excessive hair, it is best to talk about it directly with the gynecologist who deals with your case. If the problem of excessive hair is extremely burdensome for you and does not disappear after changing the tablets, it is best to communicate directly that you expect contraception with a clear antiandrogenic effect.
