Good morning, yesterday the child got a drug for inhalation nebbud. In the pharmacy you sold me Benodil (she said that it is the same).and now I have a question on the prescription I have written nebbud 0.25mg / ml at 2ml. DS. 2x1, and I do not know whether to give 2 times a day for half an ampoule or all over? On the ampoule writes 0.5mg / 2ml. In the leaflet that Max 2mg. And how to mix it with saline? Half and half? Unfortunately, the doctor did not tell me that.

If the doctor told you to give the child 2x1 amp. Please pour the entire contents of the ampoule into the nebulizer and inhale in the morning, after which do the same in the afternoon - using each time the entire ampoule of the drug, not 1/2. The drug should not be mixed with saline solution. This is the standard way of treatment, the maximum daily dose will not be exceeded. You will give your child 1 mg of the drug throughout the day. According to the manufacturer - "children (6 months to 12 years): 0.25 – 1 mg per day". Nebbud 0.25 mg/ml amp. 2 ml and Benodil 0.5 mg/2 ml are actually the same product. Please note that 2 ml of Nebbud contains 0.5 mg of budesonide, which is the same as in 2 ml of Benodil. Both drugs are ampoules of 2 ml with the same content of budesonide = 0.5 mg.
