Can the use of contraceptive patches be started on any day of the cycle?
Hi, I have a question about evra patches. I have never used them, so it follows that they have to start on the 1st day of the cycle. Only here is there one problem. I have irregular menstruation, it often happens that it is not there even for 3 months. The last was in early November, pregnancy excluded by the doctor. I have no idea how much longer I will be waiting for her. Can I start using the patches at this time? However, should we wait indefinitely for the beginning of the cycle?

Jeśli wykluczono ciążę, może Pani rozpocząć stosowanie plastrów Evra w dowolnym momencie, z zastrzeżeniem, że przez okres pierwszych 7 kolejnych dni stosowania plastra, należy stosować dodatkową niehormonalną metodę antykoncepcji (najczęściej prezerwatywę). Po tym okresie, zostanie osiągnięta pełna skuteczność antykoncepcji i stosowanie dodatkowej ochrony nie będzie konieczne.
