To @Kaja: the tests available in pharmacies are not differentiated in terms of detecting a specific variant of the virus. They differ from each other in sensitivity, specificity, download technique or price. More on this topic: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/testy-na-koronawirusa-sars-cov-2
Preliminary data indicate that antigen tests are also able to detect the Omikron variant, although it is up to the manufacturers of these tests to conduct and document the appropriate studies. To unequivocally confirm infection with the Omikron variant, your sample would have to be taken at a smear point and sent to the laboratory for genetic sequencing in search of so-called "genetic signatures" unique to a given variant. This is not a standard procedure at this point.Please test, which I choose at the pharmacy to find out if I have the omikron virus
