Good morning. She is currently taking the Axia contraceptive pill plus 4 months. I wonder whether to continue or take a break and after 3-4 months start taking again? I know that there will be no need to continue taking them because the partner leaves for a long time and whether it may be better to give the body "rest"?please advise

Jeśli nie ma Pani wyraźnej potrzeby stosowania leku Axia Plus, może Pani go odstawić. Należy jednak mieć świadomość, że po powrocie do leku organizm od nowa będzie się do niego przyzwyczajał, a więc mogą pojawić się różnego rodzaju skutki uboczne. W pierwszych miesiącach stosowania antykoncepcji hormonalnej wzrasta także ryzyko zakrzepicy.

Decyzję musi Pani zatem podjąć indywidualnie.
