If spotting has occurred while using Vixpo, should I consult a gynecologist?
I take Vixpo tablets for 6 months. Today for the first time I got brown spotting during the middle of the package (active tablets). Is it a reason to worry, consult or visit? I will add that 2 days ago, an hour after taking the tablet, I gave a loose stool. Could this be related to today's spotting and mean a reduction in the amount of hormones in the body? I had intercourse yesterday, I hope that contraception is preserved. Thank you for your reply

Jeśli tabletki przyjmuje Pani prawidłowo i nie stosowała Pani innych leków mogących obniżać skuteczność antykoncepcji, jednorazowe plamienie nie powinno niepokoić i nie ma powodów do obaw. Jeśli plamienia będą pojawiały się również w kolejnych cyklach, wówczas warto skonsultować się z ginekologiem.
Jednorazowe oddanie luźnego stolca na godzinę po przyjęciu tabletki antykoncepcyjnej, nie wpływa na jej skuteczność.
