Do antibiotics weaken the effectiveness of contraception?
I am currently taking 9 tablets, at the third tablet there was intercourse. Because of laryngitis, I will be forced to take an antibiotic. I don't know exactly yet. However, do I have to worry that the antibiotic will reduce my protection, and the intercourse that took place a few days earlier will lead to pregnancy? In addition, how much do I have to protect myself when taking an antibiotic? Thanks in advance

Nie napisała Pani, jakie tabletki Pani przyjmuje - wnioskuję, że chodzi o antykoncepcję, jednak nie wiem, jaką dokładnie.
Antybiotyk może zmniejszać ochronę antykoncepcyjną, dlatego należy zabezpieczać się dodatkowo przez cały okres leczenia oraz przez 7 dni po zakończeniu antybiotykoterapii.
Jeśli dotychczas wszystkie tabletki antykoncepcyjne stosowała Pani prawidłowo, to odbyty stosunek nie doprowadzi do ciąży.
