Nie należy stosować łącznie leku Spamilan i Neurotop Retard, chyba, że lekarz prowadzący zalecił inaczej. Neurotop Retard może znacząco obniżać stężenie leku Spamilan co może powodować osłabienie jego działania. Niezbędne jest ustalenie odpowiednich dawek leków oraz odstępów pomiędzy nimi:
