How to proceed correctly after vomiting after taking a Vines tablet?

I take vines birth control pills. Yesterday at 1 p.m. (as always) I took 8 tablets from the blister, while at about 4 p.m. I vomited. I took the next tablet from the blister or 9, unfortunately I did not have any spare packaging so I just took another tablet. I did as in the case of skipping the tablet (this was what was written in the leaflet). This is the first time I've had such a situation, so I wanted to ask if I did it well and if the protection is still preserved? Even though I read the leaflet, I'm not sure if I should do it that way, hence my question.
