If I put on a new contraceptive disc with a 10-hour delay, can its effectiveness be reduced?

Hello. I put polaring after a week break 10 h too late. Is the effectiveness in action reduced? Should I take out the polaring on Sunday at 8 p.m. as before or now at 6 a.m. on Monday? I'd rather stay with the old date.... But then, however, the next break will last 6 days and 14 hours.

Tak, aplikacja krążka z 10-godzinnym opóźnieniem może zmniejszać jego skuteczność antykoncepcyjną. Należy zatem stosować dodatkową metodę antykoncepcji w postaci prezerwatywy przez pierwsze 7 dni noszenia nowego krążka.
Zmianie ulegnie również dzień i godzina zmiany krążka.
