Can a cardiologist change Warfin to another?

I have an artificial aortic valve implanted 12 years ago. Take WARFIN. I found myself in a hospital that because I had too high anINR sign because I had blood in my stool The doctor asked me why I did not change to a modern one. Could my cardiologist change that now?

Proszę udać się do kardiologa, który oceni, czy można zmienić Panu lek. Jeśli uzna, że jest to wskazane i korzystne dla Pana - może dokonać takiej zmiany.

Podwyższony współczynnik INR wskazuje na wydłużone krzepnięcie krwi, co objawia się między innymi krwawieniami. Stosowanie leku takiego jak warfaryna zawarta w preparacie Warfin wymaga odpowiednio częstej kontroli wskaźnika INR.
