If I took 4 Vixpo tablets after one day as a result of repeated vomiting, did I do the right thing and was the protection maintained?
Good morning, I have a question about whether I did the right thing. I take Vixpo birth control pills, took 4 tablets with a delay of 6 hours, then there was vomiting and again I took another tablet, after which after 3h there was another vomiting, I took another one and again there was vomiting, until finally I took 4 tablets and vomiting no longer occurred. Have I behaved properly? A day later I also accidentally took 2 tablets. I know it can badly affect my body, but is protection preserved? The relationship occurred 7 days before this situation.

Tak, dla bezpieczeństwa warto stosować dodatkową metodę antykoncepcji w postaci prezerwatywy przed 7 kolejnych dni.
A czy dla bezpieczeństwa lepiej stosować przez tydzień dodatkową formę antykoncepcji?

Jeśli stosunek nastąpił 7 dni przed wyżej opisanym zdarzeniem, ryzyko ciąży jest znikome. Jeśli wymioty wystąpiły na 3-4 godziny po przyjęciu tabletki, wówczas ochrona może być zmniejszona i dobrze postąpiła Pani przyjmując kolejną tabletkę. Ponieważ jednak sytuacja powtarzała się kilka razy, nie jesteśmy w stanie jednoznacznie stwierdzić, czy i w jakich ilościach lek się wchłonął.
W takiej sytuacji za kilka dni warto wykonać kontrolnie test ciążowy, który kupi Pani w aptece bez recepty.
