Are there over-the-counter muscle relaxants available?

Are there any over-the-counter medications that relax the tight neck and neck muscles (and as a result, a slight constant headache) that I could use before physiotherapy has an effect? Painkillers like NSAIDs are not very effective and cannot be taken often.

Myorelaxants, i.e. drugs that relax skeletal muscles (e.g. neck or neck muscles), such as tolperisone or baclofen, are only available by prescription. These drugs are used in the case of increased muscle tension in the course of injuries or diseases.

In addition to painkillers, pain relief and anti-inflammatory gels can also be used topically on tense areas of the body. Powerful over-the-counter gels include Traumon and Voltaren Max.

I am attaching links to websites where you can compare the prices of these products in online pharmacies and order them with pickup at the pharmacy or home delivery:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/79788/traumon-zel/apteki

It is also worth trying warming ointments that help relax tense muscles, such as Bengay or Viprosal B:

In cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź or Białystok, products can be ordered with instant delivery even in 1 hour thanks to the Wolt Drive service - check if the service is available in your location:

Wysyłam też linki do ulotek wspomnianych maści: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/79788/traumon-zel/ulotka https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/83797/voltaren-max-zel/ulotka

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product.
