To @Aga:): If more than 24 hours have passed or it is not known how much time has passed since the patch peels off, it is recommended to immediately start a new 4-week cycle. At this point, a new "Day 1" and "Patch Change Day" are established. For the next 7 days, an additional contraceptive method should be used: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/apteki More about how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje

To @Marta:

If you have applied a new patch straight away, you do not need to use an additional method of contraception and you will need to apply the next EVRA patch as usual on the "Patch Change Day".

Marta (Anonymous, 83.6.3.) 2 months ago

On Monday I applied the first plaster. On Thursday it peeled off, so I put a new patch in the new place. What should I do now? Can I complete this cycle?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Agata:

If you have doubts whether the patch was properly applied for these 3 days, treat the currently glued patch as the first in the cycle (wear for 7 days, then stick 2 and 3 patches) and for the first 7 days use additional protection (eg condoms).

Agata (Anonymous, 37.47.90.) 7 months ago

Hello. I started to use plastics, from the beginning it seemed to me that it is not well glued, then I saw, that a little is aerated ,today redeemed in half. This is the 3rd day of the first week. Naklilalam once a new patch in another place, and what now? Normally change it on Sunday on the 8th day ? Count this day for the first? Does it work? Do I need to use additional contraception for a while?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Francesca:

In this case, you should stop your current cycle and start a new 4-week cycle as soon as possible by applying a new Evra patch. The day of applying the patch is the new "Day 1" and the new "Change of Patch Day". You should use a non-hormonal method of contraception (e.g. condoms) at the same time during the first 7 days of a new cycle.

I was on vacation and my patch came off 3 days before the break days and I had no patches to put back on, so today I am 3 days without a patch, now how should I act with the reapplication of the patch?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Monika: If the patch has easily adhered correctly, this effect should be preserved.

Monika (Anonymous, 94.70.215.) 8 months ago

Hello. During the hesitation, sand got under the plaster. I peeled off the patch. I cleaned the sand with my finger and glued it back. Is the protection maintained?

Angelika Talar-Śpionek Pharmacist, Editor

To @Alicja: The manufacturer recommends a different course of action. Therefore, the protection may be reduced and an additional form of contraception should be used until the end of the use of the patches from this package. If intercourse has taken place and there is no withdrawal bleeding during the 7-day break, you should take a home pregnancy test, which you will buy at the pharmacy. If you peeled off the patch on Sunday, the next one should have been glued on Tuesday, i.e. after 2 days. The day of the patch change should remain unchanged. Because from what you wrote, the situation took place a week ago, you can leave Sunday as the day of changing the patch. After the last patch, take a 7-day break and start a new package. Protection will be provided from the first day of sticking the patch from the new packaging. Spotting or intermittent bleeding may occur. Here you can compare the prices of popular pregnancy tests in online pharmacies and order the test with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/97388/pink-test-ciazowy-strumieniowy-super-czuly-domowe-laboratrium-test/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/91349/pink-test-ciazowy-plytkowy-super-czuly-domowe-laboratrium-test/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/94711/baby-boom-test-ciazowy-kasetowy-test/apteki If you need consultation of a gynecologist, here you can use the teleadvice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem

To @Adrianna: If the patch managed to stick back and wear it until Saturday, then yes, you can stick another patch according to the scheme on Saturday.

Adrianna (Anonymous, 46.205.128.) 16 months ago

Hello, a week ago on Thursday slightly in the middle rolled off, peeled off patch No. 3 I did not remove it I took it off on Saturday morning I got a period on Monday or Saturday I can normally stick a new stick

Hi Patch No. 1 nakleiłem on Sunday but peeled off me probably on Saturday I did not notice it and there was bleeding what do I do?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

For @Anika: Mid-cycle bleeding and spotting are common side effects, especially during the first months of using contraceptive patches. They do not affect the effectiveness of contraception and are usually not a cause for concern.

Anika  (Anonymous, 31.10.142.) 1 year ago

Hello, I started to use Evra patches when applying patch no.2 after 2-3 days there was bleeding or is it normal? I will add that I have just started using this method of contraception before I took pills

Ewa Pilch Pharmacist, Editor

To @Patra: On what day do you normally change the patch? On what exact days were the next changes to the patch made? If the patch No. 2 peeled off on the 4th day of the second week, after sticking a new patch, the next change of the patch should be performed after the next 3 days (on the 7th day of the 2nd week of use). Successively, the 3rd patch (and in fact the 4th due to the wear of additional patches) should be applied after the standard 7 days (from the moment of applying the patch No. 2). There is no need to shorten this time, even if spotting occurs. In addition, if the patch has been applied after 24 hours from the moment the previous patch peels off, it is recommended to start a new 4-week cycle, without taking a break between packages. For the first 7 days of the new cycle, it is recommended to use an additional method of contraception. If the patch applied after the patch peeled off remained on the skin for another 5 days, the contraceptive effectiveness of Evra may be impaired, as well as cause side effects, such as spotting. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/ulotka/107008 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje

Good morning, Patch No. 2 peeled off on the 4th day, I glue another. Another one also peeled off on the 5th day. I was on the way out and I glued patch No. 3 after a break of over 24 hours. I'm wearing patch #3 and there was bleeding. Should I tear off the patch or leave it until the seventh day?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Psyhopatka: According to the leaflet, you should glue the patch back or stick a new one (for these two days) and then take a break as always.

Psyhopatka (Anonymous, 37.47.146.) 1 year ago

I had 3 patch glued but I made a mistake and tore it off 2 days earlier what to do with it?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Karrrr: You may not have been protected from getting pregnant. In the new cycle, an additional non-hormonal method of contraception, e.g. condoms, should be used simultaneously for the first 7 days. In the following week, the protection will be fully preserved again.

Karrrr (Anonymous, 212.180.229.) 1 year ago

Hello. I have been using the patches for 12 years. Unfortunately, once I made a mistake. I peeled off the second patch thinking that it was the last (I did not stick the third). As always, there was bleeding and after 7 days I started another cycle. Can I be pregnant due to a mistake and what is the situation in the new cycle now?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Genia: In this situation, the "day of changing the patch" remains the same, and the sticky patch in exchange for the peeled off patch is not treated as 2, and still 1 patch. This means that you need to stick another patch on Friday and it will be counted as the 2nd slice in the cycle. The next - 3 patch - should be glued on the following Friday, and after removing it, take a 7-day break.

Genia (Anonymous, 46.204.0.) 1 year ago

Hello on Friday I glued the patch Evra No. 1 unfortunately peeled off on Tuesday:( I immediately glued a new one. My question is whether I should change the day of the patch change cycle, i.e. from Friday to Tuesday and whether to count it normally as the second even though the first one was not a full 7 days?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Dominika: If the patch can be re-applied, it should be glued immediately, but if not, you need to glue a new, spare patch, and on Saturday change the patch as standard. If the patch has not been peeled off for more than 24 hours, contraceptive protection is preserved.

Dominika (Anonymous, 31.178.164.) 2 years ago

Hello, I'm wearing the second patch from the cycle, tonight Thursday evening during the bath peeled off in the middle, but it starts to stick back to the skin, the day of changing the patch falls on me on Saturday morning, should I wait and check if it stuck so tightly that it does not peel off maximum until Friday evening so that 24 hours do not pass or stick a new one today? And then the third patch and so I stick on Saturday morning when there is a change of patch? Do I have to protect myself somehow?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Kinga: Leave the "patch change day", i.e. continue sticking on Wednesdays. If no more than 24 hours have passed from the standard time of changing the patch to sticking it on Thursday, then contraceptive protection is preserved.

Kinga (Anonymous, 37.47.181.) 2 years ago

I will add that yesterday I forgot to stick. Best regards

Kinga (Anonymous, 37.47.181.) 2 years ago

Hi yesterday I should stick a patch after a week's break, if today the stickers are Thursday, then next week also on Thursday I have to stick?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Magdalena: Immediately re-apply this patch in the same place or, if you cannot, put on a new patch. The next EVRA patch should be put on as usual on the "Patch Change Day" (i.e. Tuesday), and after removing it, take a 7-day break. Contraceptive protection is preserved.

Magdalena (Anonymous, 188.147.96.) 2 years ago

Welcome. She has been using contraceptive patches for a week. The first one I put on on Tuesday, the day before yesterday I put on 2 patches and on Wednesday I noticed that it is not on my body. He peeled off. I do not have it about 17 hours. Should I stick a new one or the same one back. Do you just wait until bleeding?greetings.

For @Kamila: Apply a new patch as soon as possible, thus starting a new four-week cycle. For the first week of the new cycle, an additional protective method of contraception (e.g. condoms) should be used.

Kamila (Anonymous, 201.182.226.) 2 years ago

Hello, during the foreign holidays I peeled off the third patch on Wednesday, and I should do it on Monday. I will have the opportunity to glue a new one only next Wednesday. What in such a situation? Take a week off and in the next cycle additional contraceptives?

Karo (Anonymous, 46.205.147.) 2 years ago

Hello! Or as the patch peeled off me on Wednesday evening (already yesterday) and the day of changing the patch I have on Thursday (today) and glued a new patch after 24 I have to change to the next one or can I leave it like that?

The cycle with the patch should last 3 weeks. On Thursday you should start the second week with the patch, and on the following Thursday the third week with the patch.

paulina (Anonymous, 176.100.194.) 2 years ago

Hello, today I peeled off the patch evra no. 1, I immediately glued a new patch. On Thursday I should change the patch to a new one, and the question is, should I peel off the patch on Thursday and glue the new one and the next week peel off completely for a 7-day break?

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic

Wystraszona  (Anonymous, 93.105.178.) 2 years ago

Nie stosuje na codzień plastrów. Ale spróbowałam pierwszy raz. Przykleiłamplaster w pierwszym dniu okresu czyli 5 listopada. Wyjechałam i zapomniałam plastrów. Dlatego po 2 plastrach nie przykleilam 3. Miesiączkę dostałam na przełomie 22,23 listopada. Jak obliczyć dni płodne w takim przypadku. Gdy cylk średnio był co 28 lub 30 dni. Czy w dniu 8 grudnia mogłam mieć dni płodne? Czy mogę być w ciąży? Dziś jest 11 grudnia I dostałam takie boleści w podbrzszu. Jakby jajniki mnie bolały? Proszę o pomoc

Należy natychmiast rozpocząć nowy czterotygodniowy cykl poprzez przyklejenie nowego
plastra.

Justyna (Anonymous, 84.59.118.) 2 years ago

Ewa Pilch Pharmacist, Editor

Do @Marta:

Najbardziej prawidłowe byłoby przyklejenie nowego plastra i odklejenie go w dniu zmiany plastra. W przypadku braku możliwości naklejenia kolejnego plastra, należy zmienić dzień rozpoczęcia nowego cyklu. Przerwa pomiędzy kolejnymi plastrami nie powinna przekraczać 7 dni. W Pani przypadku zmianie ulega "Dzień 1." na czwartek (o jeden dzień wcześniej). Kolejne plastry należy naklejać również w czwartki:

Marta (Anonymous, 80.107.117.) 2 years ago

Witam
Dzisiaj o godzinie 14 odkleił mi się trzeci plaster. Powinnam go odkleic jutro o 9 rano.

Ewa Pilch Pharmacist, Editor

Do @Natalia:

Natalia (Anonymous, 5.173.158.) 2 years ago

Ewa Pilch Pharmacist, Editor

Do @Natalia:

Dzisiaj (we wtorek) należy nakleić nowy plaster. Następnie należy jutro go odkleić i za tydzień w środę nakleić kolejny nowy plaster.
